DP2026-00809 - 725 14A Street SE This application is for a home-based business (tailoring) to operate in a residential area. Discussion about parking was the main concern which was addressed in the application. General support was received and the committee recommended supporting. DP2025-07089 - 1921 7th Avenue SE This application is for a building on 7th Avenue behind the Centex Gas. The proposal is for a 4-plex townhouse. There was some debate on the actual number of secondary suites - the city paperwork indicates five while the floor plans indicated four. DP2026-00917 - 1323 10th Avenue SE

DP2026-01430 - 2207 8th Avenue SE This application is for a new infill home with garage. Discussion focused on context and sizing of the unit, both of which seemed appropriate to the neighboring properties. No issues identified - committee recommended support.

DP2026-01202 - 1435 9th Avenue SE This application is for the Oddfellow's building, currently home of La Belle Art (furniture store), for a change of use to child care service. The proposal would be for up to 134 children on the site utilizing both floors of the building. The committee had multiple concerns about traffic, parking, staff parking, and viability of the space for this scale of regular child care. The committee will seek further information about this application.

DP2025-07487 - 54 New Street SE This Development Permit arrived after the Tuesday night meeting but has been shared as it was given final approval.

DP2026-01056 - 1025 10th Street SE This Development Permit arrived after the Tuesday night meeting and is still open for comment. The application is for a change of use: medical clinic for the Merlin Block.
