Nellie Breen

A cherished spot in Inglewood, this new (2008) playground features a rubber surface (no sand), a beautiful mosaic gazebo, Adirondack chairs and picnic tables. Popular with kids of all ages.

Mills Park

This playground is currently closed due to construction in the adjoining lot. However, the green space with trees and benches is still available for public use. In May 2016, The City of Calgary held a public engagement session to encourage feedback on the design of a new and unique natural play space.

Colonel Walker School

Completed in the fall of 2013, it’s unique in all of Canada and is a highlight of the community. Amazing parent volunteers brought this dream playground to life!

Quiet Street

Located on a quiet backstreet, this is a nice shady playground and green space for the kids to run.

Located next to the fish hatchery and surrounded by a huge park, Pearce Estate includes swings, a slide and other playground amenities. It also includes picnic tables, barbecue grills and seasonal washrooms.

Alexandra Centre

The Alexandra Centre has a huge playground with equipment suitable especially for young kids. It may be busy during weekdays as it’s used by the daycare.

The ICA serves the community by helping guide change while acknowledging our past.
