Summer Events in Inglewood

This summer there are multiple events for Inglewood to get together, enjoy some sunshine, and maybe even a hotdog and beverage. Here is a short summary of the events happening:

Neighbour Day

June 20th. Various Events

The annual tradition of celebrating Calgary's community. This year there are no Inglewood specific events but info about the various celebrations can be found here at the City of Calgary's website.

Parent and Caregiver Meet-up

June 23rd, July 7th, July 21st, & August 4th from 11:00AM to 1:00PM in the Skate Shack

An informal gathering space for those in Inglewood looking for a break from the house while providing stay-at-home care for infants and toddlers. Join with other caregivers for an informal meet-up space where kids are welcome. No fees or registration: just drop-in as you are - sweatpants and dirty hair are totally fine.

Inglewood Parade of Garage Sales

Saturday, July 18th From 9:00AM to 3:00PM across Inglewood

The annual Parade of Garage Sales is a day for Inglewood to become a used, vintage, and second-hand shopping destination. This collective activity is a great chance to make a few bucks on your treasures and clean out your garage, basement, etc.

Community Cup Soccer Matchday! Inglewood vs. Ramsay

5:00PM to 8:00PM at the ICA Grounds. July 20th + August 9th + August 27th

Players and spectators wanted for this epic showdown between 2 casual groups of interested community members playing a friendly games of soccer.

Community Clean-up and E-waste round-up

Sunday, August 16th from 9:00AM to 1:30PM at the Inglewood Wildlands Parking lot

The ICA has teamed up with the City of Calgary Community Standards and Waste & Recycling, The DI Centre, Shanked Recycling, and Bowest Appliances to bring dump services into the community for a free disposal day.

Help the ICA raise some money by bringing your ewaste. Old electronics will be collected to be properly disposed of and proceeds of the scrap value will be given to the ICA. We will be accepting the following:
