Holiday Card Project

In 2021, with Covid raging all around us the ICA was looking for ways to spread connection and joy around the community while we were avoiding the celebrations that generally accompany the winter season. We took a cue from Colonel Walker School and their annual handmade card delivery to the homes closest to the school and the Inglewood Holiday Card Project was born.

Since that first year, the ICA has collected and delivered thousands of holiday greetings to Inglewood residents with a focus on those who may find themselves more isolated and with fewer resources to celebrate the season.

There are so many ways you can help spread joy with the Holiday Card Project:

• Attend a card making bee at the ICA on Nov 15 or Dec 12 (craft supplies provided)

• Host your own card making bee and donate your cards to the Project

• Donate blank store-bought cards

• Write notes in blank cards

• Deliver cards around the community between Dec 18 and 24
