Inglewood Summer Fun Nights

This summer the ICA is hosting three nights for Inglewood to gather and build community together.


Each event will have a featured artist and activity, but these nights are also just be a time to come and hang-out with your neighbours with no participation required. The skate shack canteen will be open selling treats and drinks (cash and card accepted).


Casual hangs, picnics, and playdates are encouraged! We ask that you bring your own chairs or blankets for seating if you can.


The Summer Fun nights are as follows:


Thursday, July 31st from 5:00PM to 8:00PM

5:00PM to 6:00PM - Community open mic and talent show

6:00PM to 8:00PM - Featuring Flamenco artist and teacher, Honey Sturdy. Honey will provide a Flamenco lesson and show highlighting the art form and discussing it's origins.


Thursday, August 7th from 5:00PM to 8:00PM

5:00PM to 6:00PM - Community open mic and talent show

6:00PM to 8:00PM - Story-telling workshop hosted by Indigenous story-teller, Chantal Chagnon. Walk the land and learn how to tell your own story.


Thursday, August 14th from 5:00PM to 8:00PM

5:00PM to 7:00PM - Hotdogs available for $2.00

6:00PM to 8:00PM - Community open mic and talent show

6:00PM to 8:00PM - Button making (Artist TBA) . Make a button to celebrate our great neighbourhood in your own way. Button maker and supplies provided.



If you're interested in coming, it's all drop-in, so just show up. if you prefer to have a job in these situations we are looking for help with some tasks during the events, please check for opportunities here.
