Inglewood-Ramsay Public Realm Improvements

Public Realm Improvements in the communities of Ramsay and Inglewood is part of The City’s Transit Oriented Development program. This work will enhance connections to transit and nearby public spaces, helping to create more inviting spaces ahead of several nearby

proposed developments.

The Ramsay-Inglewood Public Realm Improvements project began enabling work last fall, including a new traffic signal at 11 Street and 21Avenue S.E. Construction is on schedule to fully launch this Spring 2025.

The remainder of the concrete shaft is scheduled to be demolished in the next two weeks.

Anticipate some noise, dust and vibration while this work is being completed.

Site restoration is anticipated to begin in early spring. This work includes site clean-up,

pathway repairs, Bow Riverbank restoration, tree and shrub planting in the green space and

along the bank of the river and grass seeding.

During this work, crews had installed a temporary water line in the alley running north of 8

AVE SE at 9 ST SE. Now that work is nearing completed, crews will be excavating the alley to

remove the temporary water line and re-pave the alley.

Enmax will be back onsite to remove the threephase power to the site. This will require a

temporary trench across the 7 Ave S.E. alley followed by pavement rehabilitation. Enmax will also be onsite to remove one of the wooden transmission poles that was too close

to the site trailers to remove last year.
