Planning Report Sept 2022
I’m happy to bring back the monthly planning report after two changes of director and a break in the reporting of what’s going on in the neighbourhood.
2305 15A Street SE
An application was received to replace the current deck with a covered deck addition. We supported
2740 16A Street SE
The application was originally received as a land use change from R-C2 to R-CG which we did not support. Following a meeting with the applicants, the application was amended to a combined Development Permit and Land Use Change. The development permit shows the proposed three unit townhome with a gabled roof and a maximum height which should blend better with the neighbours.
We appreciate the changes and supported the second application.
1419 10 Ave SE
The application is for a new backyard suite over a garage. We support the application.
2003 16 St SE
The Y has proposed some changes to the interior of their building under construction just east of the 9 Ave/Blackfoot underpass to convert space to additional housing. We supported the application and wish the Y all the best as their construction progresses.
