Would you like to submit a story or letter to be published on this website, and in the monthly printed newsletter? Email them to submissions@icacalgary.com. Below are answers to some commonly asked questions.

What format should my story be in?
If you've written a letter or story that you would like to see published in the newsletter, they need to be sent to us as a standard desktop editing format such as a Microsoft Word file. You may also just type your story into an email, and we can use that text as well.

I'd like to include a photo with my story. How do I get an image to you?
You may send the JPEG file to us as an email attachement. All photos should be supplied to us in a standard JPEG format, and at least 1 Megapixel (1024 x 768 pixels). This also applies to anything that you may have scanned using your desktop scanner.  If the subject of the image is a person or group of people, be sure to include their names, as well as the name of the photographer.

My photo is a print, what should I do?
Printed photos will generally not be accepted without making previous arrangements. If you have a photo print, please have it scanned first, and then send us the digital file .

I don't have email - but I still have something I'd like published. How can I deliver it?
If you need to deliver materials for publishing in person,  they may be delivered to the ICA Community Hall.

However, please be aware than any handwritten submissions may not be accepted if they are too hard to read - so, please write as neatly as you can, as someone will have to type your story in.

What sort of stories are you looking for?
The  newsletter and this website are primarily intended to communicate vital information about the  monthly operations of the Inglewood Community Association. However, it is also a great place to let your neighbours and visitors to our community  know what a great place Inglewood is to live! Anything from opinion letters to musings on life in Inglewood will be considered.
