2507-16th Street SE Extension of Exterior Smoke Stacks

Environmental Management of the City of Calgary met with and the Calgary Health Region to discuss the emission issue. Alberta Environment completed a recent visit and noted a number of measures being taken by Belliveau Furnishings to improve emissions such as low VOC paint and fillers. The Calgary Health Region has requested additional details on the stacks and Environmental Management has requested that a qualified professional provide documentation that outlines the measures that will be implemented to ensure that the stacks are compatible with adjacent land uses. This information will be reviewed at next months meeting.
