The Redevelopment Committee reviewed the revised plans based on the ICA’s prior comments and drafted the following motion, which was ratified at the General Meeting in July:
"Whereas the ICA appreciates both the intent of the Inglewood Quays Project, and the efforts that Statesman has undertaken to address community aspirations and concerns during the land use application process, and whereas the ICA recognizes that this stage of the project addresses only land use and that specific design concerns such as, but not limited to, placement and treatment of parkade ramps, and street section design, is understood by Statesman and is better dealt with during the development permit application stage of the project, the RDC recommends approval of this land-use application to the ICA with the stipulation that the RDC either has approved the formal written land use prior to the ICA General Meeting of Monday July 24th 2006, or will be empowered by the ICA to approve the formal land use document as soon as it becomes available from the City."
