Proposal to build a second building next to their existing building, removing the Quonset hut. The Redevelopment Committee had asked that the original proposal be upgraded to include architectural features on the front facade, a pedestrian sidewalk and upgraded landscaping in exchange for landscape setback relaxations. None of the recommendations were incorporated into the application submitted to the City. The owner and his Architect attended the July Redevelopment meeting with very little to offer. This was our third meeting on this issue. We reiterated our concerns as outlined in last month’s newsletter. We will continue to try to work with the owner to resolve the outstanding issues.
