The Inglewood Community Association was formed on June 5, 1949 and is one of the oldest continually operated community associations in Calgary. The ICA has been an essential component in forming and maintaining the character of Inglewood, Calgary's first community.
Starting out in the Number 3 Firehall on 9th Ave. (Currently the Hose & Hound Pub), the ICA relocated in 1967 to its current location: 1740, 24th Ave. SE.
Today, the ICA continues to provide a voice to residents of this historic neighborhood as the city grows around it. As the inner city core expands to the borders of Inglewood, it has never been more essential for residents to lend their support to the ICA through membership support, or by attending the regular community meetings.
